Two factories were built in 2004 near Erbil. Both have been operating successfully to produce high-quality pre-stressed concrete structural components. With a total area of 50,000 m2, the plants use pre-stress technology imported from Germany (Wieler) to produce 1,200 m2/day of pre-stressed slab planks.
