This is one of the largest construction projects in Erbil’s rural Barzan District. The specifications were to build 500 houses in seven different villages in Walati Zheri – an area under reconstruction for the first time in 30 years. The development consisted of providing a fully functional road infrastructure, independent water supply, schools and a health centre. Beneficiaries’ of this project are the villagers who were displaced 30 years ago to collective towns near Erbil city.
